With this mAadhaar App, users can share their Aadhaar details with third party app through NFC, QR code, bar code, etc. Moreover, you don’t have to carry your Aadhaar card with you and have the fear of losing it as the App is itself a virtual card of the original Aadhaar card. Features of the mAadhaar App:
The mAadhaar App not only lets users have their Aadhaar profile linked with their mobiles but also allow them to lock/unlock their biometric data through the app. Additional features of the App are viewing and sharing updated Aadhaar profile through QR code, bar code. Moreover, you can also share KYC details with different network service providers.
Availability of the Aadhaar App:
Presently, the App is available only for the Android users. You can download the Aadhaar App from Google Play Store. Make sure you type the name of the App correctly so that you don’t end up installing the fake Apps. Recent updates say that the Aadhaar app will soon be available for ios and windows devices too.

Steps to register on the mAadhaar app:
- First of all, download and install the App,
- Enter your Aadhaar card number and verify it via the OTP,
- As soon as the verification is successful, your Aadhaar details will appear on the screen.
- Make sure the mobile number on the device is same as that one linked to your Aadhaar card.
- Create a password in order to secure the Aadhaar App.
The lock/unlock feature is available on the Biometric settings under the menu option of the App.
